More on Lee Shoblom

Lee sold his London Bridge Broadcasting (KFWJ, KBBC, TV45) and retired in 1997, after 40 years in broadcasting, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Shoblom says the first station he owned was named KFWJ, for "Kash from Walt Johnson," referring to the successful -- and profitable -- Walt Johnson Traffic Reports series that Lee syndicated on some 1200 stations.
