Mark writes:I remember the energy created by the growth of Florida, combined with a hot Miami music scene: KC & The Sunshine Band, George & Gwen McRae, Jimmy Bo Horne, Pretty Tony Butler, Luke, The Bee Gees, Expose, and Miami Sound Machine. Those days at Y-100 in Miami were beyond a radio experience. Then later, on I-95/WINZ-FM with the breaking of a new act called Madonna. Music radio, the record stores, the clubs ... all were working together to keep up with Miami's amazing tri-ethnic audience. It was an explosion I'll never forget.
