biz, still live in the Bay Area (Solano County) and am blessed with great health; since 1997,
I've run my ad agency (founded in 1970) but plan to slow down; I am a freelance writer and
voice-over guy, but hate chasing down gigs; I do graphic designs and copywriting; most proud
of KNBA winning the 1992-1993 SPJ (Society of Professional Journalists) award, beating all the
net-owned hotshot San Francisco TV stations; I had a fine ride and loved every minute of it.
Last I checked, the local news on KVON in Napa, CA was being prepped and voiced by a chick
from her home in Montana and shipped via Internet for airing; she also does it for a station
in Bakersfield; so much for local radio; that's where the biz has gone; communities
everywhere lose."
