rock 'n' roll (1954); the only DJ to MC concerts by Bill Haley (1956), Buddy Holly (1957), Elvis (1957)
and the Beatles (1964); founder/president of three advertising agencies (1970-85); host of Timmy's
Christmas Telethon (1976-96) and host of Red's Classic Theater on KVOS-TV Bellingham WA (1989-2001).
Red was among a group of legendary Top 40 deejays honored by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. He
was inducted into the Canadian Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2000."
